Discrimination? It is the prejudicial treatment of an individual based on
their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category, "in a
way that is worse than the way people are usually treated." It involves the group's initial reaction or interaction,
influencing the individual's actual behavior towards the group or the group
leader, restricting members of one group from opportunities or privileges that
are available to another group, leading to the exclusion of the individual or
entities based on logical or irrational decision making. Discriminatory
traditions, policies, ideas, practices, and laws exist in many countries and institutions in
every part of the world, even in ones where discrimination is generally looked
down upon. In some places, controversial
attempts such as quotas or affirmative action have been used to benefit those
believed to be current or past victims of discrimination—but have sometimes
been called reverse discrimination themselves. (Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.,)
This is also the worst thing that the others
may do to their fellowmen. They didn’t consider the feelings of others while they are doing
it. So, discriminating must not be done so that
we, the victims will be happy everytime. And we shall also have a peaceful life.Everyone of us wants a
peaceful life. Just like me. I want to have a peaceful life
because I want to make my life to be memorable
and I don’t want my life ruin by anyone. That’s why, I am
doing good to my fellowmen so that they will not hurt me and they will treat me
as a friend and not an enemy.
God
created us with equal rights and equal opportunities.
We have the right to choose our future. Because we are the one who is
holding our life and they can’t help us when we fall. Only God can help us we
have a problem.
