During our third
periodical test, I thought that our test is hard like out test before. But I
was wrong. Our test was so very easy that's why I've got a lot in the test. :))

Christmas (Old English: Crīstesmæsse, meaning "Christ's Mass")
is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ[6][7] and a widely observed cultural holiday, celebrated
generally on December 25[3][4][5] by millions of people around the world.[2][8] A feast central to the Christian liturgical year,
it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days ofChristmastide,
which ends after the twelfth night.[9] Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations,[10][11][12] is celebrated by an increasing number
of non-Christians,[1][13][14] and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season.
While the birth year of Jesus is estimated among modern historians
to have been between 7 and 2 BC, the exact month and day of his birth are
unknown.[15][16] His birth is mentioned in two of the
four canonical
gospels. By the early-to-mid 4th century, the Western Christian Church had placed Christmas on December 25,[17] a date later adopted in the East,[18][19]although
some churches celebrate on the December 25 of the older Julian calendar,
which corresponds to January in the modern-day Gregorian calendar. The date of Christmas
may have initially been chosen to correspond with the day exactly nine months
after early Christians believed Jesus to have
been conceived,[20] or with one or more ancient polytheisticfestivals that occurred near southern
solstice (i.e., the Roman winter solstice);
a further solar connection has been suggested because
of a biblical verse[a] identifying Jesus as the "Sun of
righteousness".[20][21][22][23][24]
The celebratory customs associated in
various countries with Christmas have a mix of pagan, pre-Christian, Christian, andsecular themes and origins.[25] Popular modern customs of the holiday
include gift giving, Christmas music and caroling,
an exchange of Christmas cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various Christmas decorations, including Christmas trees, Christmas lights, nativity scenes, garlands, wreaths, mistletoe, and holly. In addition, several
closely related and often interchangeable figures, known as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas,
andChristkind,
are associated with bringing gifts to children during the Christmas season and
have their own body of traditions and lore.[26] Because gift-giving and many other
aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among
both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event
and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of
Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in
many regions of the world.

CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change
is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather
patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a
change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around
the average conditions (i.e., more or fewer extreme weather events). Climate
change is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar
radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain
human activities have also been identified as significant causes of recent
climate change, often referred to as "global warming". Scientists
actively work to understand past and future climate by using observations and
theoretical models. A climate record — extending deep into the Earth's past —
has been assembled, and continues to be built up, based on geological evidence
from borehole temperature profiles, cores removed from deep accumulations of
ice, floral and faunal records, glacial and periglacial processes,
stable-isotope and other analyses of sediment layers, and records of past sea
levels. More recent data are provided by the instrumental record. General
circulation models, based on the physical sciences, are often used in
theoretical approaches to match past climate data, make future projections, and
link causes and effects in climate change. (Wikimedia Foundation,

In this days,
our climate is totally changed. As can see, natural calamities continuous in
attacking us. Just like in the Visayas region. They suffered from a super
typhoon and there are a lot of people died in a day. Maybe the reason why there
are a lot of people died is just that we are not helping our countrymen to lean
our environment. Many people are not cooperating whatever the government are
implementing to make our environment clean. When our mother earth get angry,
for sure our place will be destroyed in just a second.
So, as early as possible, we must clean
now our environment before there is another calamity run to our place again.

Discrimination? It is the prejudicial treatment of an individual based on
their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category, "in a
way that is worse than the way people are usually treated." It involves the group's initial reaction or interaction,
influencing the individual's actual behavior towards the group or the group
leader, restricting members of one group from opportunities or privileges that
are available to another group, leading to the exclusion of the individual or
entities based on logical or irrational decision making. Discriminatory
traditions, policies, ideas, practices, and laws exist in many countries and institutions in
every part of the world, even in ones where discrimination is generally looked
down upon. In some places, controversial
attempts such as quotas or affirmative action have been used to benefit those
believed to be current or past victims of discrimination—but have sometimes
been called reverse discrimination themselves. (Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.,)
This is also the worst thing that the others
may do to their fellowmen. They didn’t consider the feelings of others while they are doing
it. So, discriminating must not be done so that
we, the victims will be happy everytime. And we shall also have a peaceful life.Everyone of us wants a
peaceful life. Just like me. I want to have a peaceful life
because I want to make my life to be memorable
and I don’t want my life ruin by anyone. That’s why, I am
doing good to my fellowmen so that they will not hurt me and they will treat me
as a friend and not an enemy.
God
created us with equal rights and equal opportunities.
We have the right to choose our future. Because we are the one who is
holding our life and they can’t help us when we fall. Only God can help us we
have a problem.
“Going Global Through English Language”
English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in
early medieval England and is now the most widely used language in the world.
It is spoken as a first language by the majority populations of several sovereign
states, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia,
Ireland, New Zealand and a number of Caribbean nations; and it is an official
language of almost 60 sovereign states. It is the third-most-common native
language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. It is widely learned
as a second language and is an official language of the European Union, many
Commonwealth countries and the United Nations, as well as in many world
organisations. (Wikimedia
Foundation, Inc.,)
Through the help of English language, we can easily understand
each other even though we are not belong in one country. Because English is called
as the Universal Language. English language is hard in the beginning but when
you learned to love it, you can now speak in English fluent as you can. .
To those people who are not really good in english like me, we shall not give up to learn this language because there will be the right time that we can learn thet language totally.
